Hello everyone! I have a modded stealth and wanted to ask a question about setting the Rshunt value. I have clyte controller that I got from a friend and am wanting to make sure that my Rshunt value is correct.

im testing the shunt and I want to make sure that im doing this correctly.
here is a pic.

I have the throttle pinned and the bike is on a stand. and am using a clamp meter on the positive battery to controller lead

Would I take the reading off the clamp meter (5.86) and multiply that by the voltage 81.0 to get the watts? (474.66 watts)
or would the voltage reading on the CA be in question because the rshunt setting is off?

then I assume I tweak the Rshunt value until I get them close?

thanks all!!

So ive adjusted the CA to read in amps. what im noticing is the clamp meter seems a bit more accurate than the CA. The CA seems to sample in bigger time chunks than the clamp meter
take a look at this vid. This is as close as I got it so far. it still varies some but sometimes the clamp meter is reading higher than the CA, sometimes lower and sometimes exactly on point.
im guessing this is close enough.

Well,
looks like I was correct and that's about as accurate as it can get with the CA. The reading isn't going to be as stable as the meter because the display is going off the shunt through the controller and then fed to the CA. Hence the jumps....
