Setting up my cycle analyst

I was hoping for some advice from you educated peeps!

I have set up my system and got it working with throttle only. I have installed a Thun bb torque sensing and doesn't seem to work. I have enabled the sensor in cycle analyst but still no function. It is set to 3 times input. I can't make sense of the other settings. Any advice? I am worried I damaged the cables upon installation as it was a bit of a jiggle putting it all together. I sincerely hope this is not the case as the bracket was very expensive.

Secondly. I have a 52v 29ah battery driving 2 X 250w geared hub motors. I have set max power to 22amp (thanks ebike school.com) and 15 battery cells seems to give me 52v setting. Other than that I can't make any sense of the rest of the set up ie. Throttle voltage etc. Can anyone walk me through the setup to optimise my machine?

I will post some pics fairly soon of my set up. I've a set up a wind screen to block cold air blowing on to me. Others may find it interesting or useful

Many thanks

The best walk thru of the setup is to go to http://ebikes.ca, then the CA3 product/info page,
http://www.ebikes.ca/product-info/cycle-analyst-3.html#user-manuals
then follow the link for Teklektik's Unofficial User Guide (UUG).

It seems daunting, but many things in the CA are interrelated, so a setting that hasn't been setup could keep something else from doing what you expect. There's a lot of stuff in there that interacts.

If you follow *all* of the steps in that guide to set all of the menu parameters, you should be able to at least find out if it the THUN is working correctly, and it should also let you get the system working and setup the way you like it.

That said, you can actually see if the THUN is working, as there's a setup screen that shows the voltages from it as you apply torque to it. That's covered in the UUG, too.

BTW, if you would reply to the questions asked, and suggestions given, in your original thread, people would be more able to help you.

I've never used a forum before. I'm not sure how to reply. I really do appreciate your input as I've googled the cycle analyst settings and got nowhere. I really would be screwed without this forum

Thank you
