I recently bought a Sevcon Gen4 and the programming interface. However, I can not get the contractor to engage. Also, I have no backup of my original DCF file. Does anyone have any working DCF files they could send me. ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I also recently bought a Gen4 and am slowly learning what needs to be tweaked to get things working. What motor are you using if you don't mind me asking?

The link takes you to a download of the DCF file that I pulled from my controller right after I got it and had only made a few small changes. It is by no means a correct/complete configuration, but it gives you a place to start from when building your own.

To get the contactor to close, ensure the contactor voltage is configured correctly via the DVT software, and address any other errors that present themselves when "Get Fault Information" is clicked. You will also need to connect and configure a throttle, seat switch, forward switch, and a foot switch before the controller will drive the motor.
