After wearing out another cassette on my 9 speed sora equipped merida commuter I decided to upgrade to 9 speed cues. (Shifter, deraili
er, chain and cassette )

Seems I overlooked the tsdz2 chainring not playing with an 11 speed linkglide chain ....

Google's not helping much at all.

Are there 11 speed linkglide chainrings available anywhere that fit a tsdz2 ? Options ?

I'm told that linkglide will generally work with any chainring.. but have not confirmed that personally, so hopefully you get a more solid answer.

That's what I thought as well but the chain rides up the chainring in the low gears :(

Linkglide is 11sp width regardless of implementation speeds, so it suffers from the same lack of bearing width in the chain and sprockets as any 11 speed system. Hard pass, for me.

Keep in mind that their bread is buttered when your stuff wears out. Yours isn't.

Yeah, 11 speed is dramatically more expensive overall.
Many MTBers speak highly of the linkglide's added longevity but it's going to be expensive too.
I was quoted $250 for a derailleur, chain, and shifter. That's crazy.

You will find that with a mid drive, you don't need that many gears honestly.. way better to just pick a taller or less tall gear spread with ~8 gears if you need it... or stick to 9.

30 bucks for a stupid wide gear range:

LinkGlide with a torque sensing mid-drive is an awesome combination , I don’t think you’ll regret the purchase . From my experience , the way that LinkGlide shifts increases the longevity of the chain and allows shifts that would have had other drivetrains making some nasty noises . I’ve been running a 10 speed 11-43 cassette driven by a CYC X1 stealth for about 2000 kilometers with zero issues .

You’d have to get a cassette as well for the $250 . Still expensive though .

I thought, wrongly, that Cues used hyperglide not linkglide. I would have given them more consideration over the absolute budget cheap l-twoo I bought.

Pairing my tsdz2b with my hyperglide setup wasn't the most enjoyable experience. The cheap l-twoo hasn't been much better though that last part was probably 99.9% user error.
