SIAXDJ138A - new (for 2026) motor

I saw zero posts about it on ES yet. All the specs are thrown around, except weight... From what I (think I) know about it, it's a new, hairpin-based model that is supposed to sit between 120 and 138-70H in power capabilities, weighing about as much as the 120 (but of course physically larger). I am not sure why a motor with a 80H rotor and hairpins would be weaker than a 70H, and I don't trust the torque ratings at all for obvious reasons.

Oh, and it comes with a 20/17 shaft!

Did anyone here do more research into it? I think I saw a sub-10kg figure for it somewhere but for the life of me can't seem to find it now. If it indeed cut 3kg from the 138-70H I'd be very interested to put it in next bike, as I'm always looking for ways to shave weight (and I am really not stressing my 70H meaningfully the way I ride anyway).

It sounds to me like it is just between the 138 70h and 90h in rated power at least. 3,5kw vs 3kw for the 70h and 4kw for the 90h.
It also has 138 in the name, so it sounds like it is just a motor between the other 2. Why do you think it is less powerful than the 70h?

I've seen people make such claims online - in fairness, I really have no idea. The manufacturer cited values are obviously far from the reality, especially in high peak offroad use. Your observation seem correct though.

I just want to know how much it weights, because it definitely looks like it would be an upgrade from the 70H at first glance.
