I've got a little skyrc watt meter with an aux power port (so it can measure down to zero V) but try as I might I can't find any info on which pin is which. (I gather it's a simple pos/ neg only)
Does any one know? Don't want to fry it by trial and error.
Thanks
K

Hi, I don't have first hand knowledge, but in case you don't get any other comments, here's what I would do (other than opening the box).

Measure with a DMM in continuity mode between either big black wire and the AUX pins to find ground. It is 99% likely to share a common ground. Likely to be one of the outside pins.

It is likely they are centre POS and outside NEG (like the Watts Up), as this is a standard for servo plugs, presumably so RC users can power these meters from their BEC.

You should check to see if a standard 3 pin Futaba servo pin fits those 3 holes. Then measure across and see what each wire carries. Obviously don't touch the leads together on the servo pin.

So for anyone who might need to know
Top pin is negative ( thanks for the tip Gregory)
Middle is positive
Bottom pin... No idea.
This allows measurement below 5-6v, so I can test individual cells etc.
seems to be reasonably accurate at these low levels for example it measured 1.01v on an old nicad with a 9v aux power supply. DMM showed 1.075
Anyway thanks for the tips
K
