Snowboard winch motor cutting of

Snowboard miniwinch.

Motor: orbarter x1 motor
Kt kontroller , 40A
52v li-ion battery (14s6p)

Using this in sensorles mode.

If i add too mutch throttle at once motor is cutting off and making noise.

What could it be?

I've had similar experiences with small hub motors paired with sensorless controllers.
It's a controller/overcurrent issue, it'll work fine with a large hub motor just fine.
You'll need a different controller that can be programmed.
