Sparks in the NTM 50-60 motor

After tiding this evening for couple of miles I saw sparks coming out of one motor. Every time this would happen the motor would stall for a second. It happened a couple of times after pressing the throttle all the way down.

I checked the motor wires and slightly pushed them down to make sure there was good connection. After that there have been no signs of any sparks. Has this happened to anybody else?

Yeah. I've have witnessed that. During gear ratio & wheel size test....

What is your gear ratio. And wheel size?

Get this combination wrong the motors draw to much current which turns into heat.... melting the insulation & shorting the wires....

I don't think is the gear ratio.

I use mbs 8 inch tire with 1:4.8 gear ration. Maybe the wires were not connected?

When I accelerated one of the motors would slightly stall when the other will properly run. This is how it caught my attention other wise I wouldn't see it.
