Hello
I'm trying to find the speed limiter on a SPARTA C3 e-bike The controller is an Ananda (see photo).I've tried disconnecting the single wires, one by one, but this doesn't work. Is there another way to remove the speed limit on this bike?
Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum. Well, you've checked the usual, but have you checked the obvious? Is the top speed of the motor the same if you hold the wheel off the ground at full throttle? If there is a difference in speed, then there is nothing limiting your speed.

Adana Cute series motors aren't exactly speed demons. It's not always necessary for speed to be hard limited with those motors. The motor might be slow enough to need no limiting.

Hello Drunkskunk
Thanks for replying. I'll try what you suggest.
I think there must be a limiter because when I cycle (downhill) at greater than 25km/h it becomes hard to pedal (power cuts out?) until the speed slows back to the 25 km limit, which is frustrating.

What can I do to stop this happening?
Thanks

I also have a Sparta C3 from 2013. I tried all sort of stuff to figure uit the speed control, but didn't succeed. At the end I replaced the controller and display. There is no speed limit anymore. So this is the way to go.

Hello tobsie
Thanks very much for your reply. I think I will follow your advice and change the controller - can you recommend one?

(Presently 3611DLC controller)

What controller did you end up using? Matching plugs?
