spot welder recommendation: Glitter vs Sunkko for .3mm pure

Hello all. I am planning to start a new battery build, and I was interested in buying an off the shelf spot welder that could do .3mm pure nickel. Though I am open to kits as well.

At the moment, I was considering the Glitter 801D or the Sunkko 709. Any thoughts? I couldn't find much on this forum about the Glitter. Though, I did find a thread discussing the 709, but the OP (@Darren2018) mentioned dual stacking a Malectrics V4 to do copper. I wish there were more details on that because it sounds like an interesting DIY alternative.

I know this is an old thread. I just found it. If you are still looking.... but I will pass this thread I have started about the same information if you are still looking. To do .3mm you need a pretty powerful machine.

What is a good budget spot welder?

I want to rebuild some 18650 tool battery packs. I tried one of the Amazon welders and it is a no go. Seems to be great for .15mm tabs, but the tabs on my battery pack are about .3mm and the welder will not touch them. Since I am learning, I was guessing the welder was junk. Now I think it is...
