Stealth B52 rear wheel replacement help

hello guys i have a stealth B52 and i just bent the rear rim, i went to buy a replacement rim and the total came out to be $240. Do you happen to know of a replacement rim that will fit this setup for much cheaper?

Size of rim would help, width of rim would help, what color of rim do you want.

I see zilch on their website, and a quick interweb search reveals zilch also.

Some people use Motorcycle/Moped rims to lace their hub motors into.

it is a 24 inch wheel, 36 wholes for spokes, that is all i know as of now this is the wheel from the factory.

Yeah I doubt you'd find any bicycle rim like that.

Where would you even find one with lots of space between the nipple holes and the tube.

I'd personally look for a 19" x 1.85"(WM2) or 1.60"(WM1) rim from any motorcycle store or online classifieds, ebay or amazon. Be cheaper to by locally. That 19" motorcycle/moped diameter equates to 24" bicycle diameter.

If you don’t want to order rims and spokes from Holmes Hobbies to build your own wheel, the next best option is to add stainless steel washers to Holmes Moped 6mm nipples. This allows you to fit the affordable Sapim stainless steel 12ga spokes that are recommended into the 8mm holes found on common 1.6-inch wide moped rims.

You will need to dish these washers into a shallow bowl shape, which is easily done with a cheap 3/8-inch hydraulic tubing flare tool. Standard 12ga bicycle nipples will require washers when used on any moped rims. Common 12ga nipples have a 4.6mm body, and a 5mm washer works well. For Holmes moped nipples (6mm 10ga body with a 12ga hole), an SAE #12 washer has a 6.4mm ID.

I'd say you can grab a rim for $100, the nipples and spokes probably another $50-100, then you need to lace the hub yourself, which is easy to learn.
