Stealth bomber b52 battery swap

My bomber battery dropped a cell it’s a 72v 18ah lifep04 battery. I decided to have a lithium battery built for it as it’s a pretty confined area and couldn’t find an off the shelf one.

Now the issue I’m facing is trying to find out how to program my display for the voltage differences. The lithium battery full charge voltage is 84v and the original is 87.6volts. So when the Lithium battery is at full charge it’s only 50 percent on my display. I presume as the voltage drops it’ll cut the power even though the battery has a lot more juice. Also stealth stay very quiet about altering settings does anyone have any idea how to help.

It’s a crystalyte controller.

Do you have an actual display for it, that pairs with the controller, or is it like most of the actual stealthbikes that use the Cycle Analyst as a central computer/display/powermonitor/etc?

If it's just the CA, the manuals for those are avaialble at ebikes.ca ; you just have to look at the startup screen to see which version you have (the v2 and 3 look the same, but have different firmware and some hardware / functionality). Then get the aprpropriate version manual.

I highly recommend going thru all the setup screens and writing down every setting on every screen and subscreen *before* you cahnge any of them, so you can put them all back if something doesn't do waht you wnat it to. There are certain settings that are interdependent and changing one can change other values, which may not change back by changing the initiating setting.

Yeah it’s the stock stealth set up. But not the CA set up it’s the dc1 display. There only very limited information I can find about it.

Managed to fix the issue. With the dv1 display to access the set up menu, with the key in the off position press and hold the menu button for a few seconds then the menu will appear you can alter voltages, shunt etc. hopefully someone finds this information useful. Now onto the next issue why won’t the bike accelerate beyond 33mph?

The controller was the issue. I fitted a Sabvoton 150 amp and the issue went away.

Yeah I was going to say that but figured it was a mute point with the work you've done.
The crystalyte controllers are mostly/practically unprogramable. And the dc1 can only give it 1 of 3 speed settings.

You can actually do abit more than that by accessing the “secret menu”

Yep manipulate the display. I've made changes to mine after soldering the shunts in the controller turning my 60A controller to 85A. Making the kWh ready correctly.
But it can't change any settings in the controller.
