Stromer questions

Just got a Stromer Sport with the ST1 motor and battery (the 'refurb' ones Stromer is selling) and I have a couple of questions about it, maybe some of you can help!!

1. The front brake (hydraulic, Tektro Auriga esub model) doesn't cut off power or engage regen as the rear one - is this by design?? Seems silly, since it's got the electric switch and wire present.
2. The bottom bracket looks exposed - see pic. Shouldn't there be a dust cover, at least??

3. What fenders would work best for it? The front fork doesn't have any eyelets for fenders and the Stromer city kit doesn't fit (it's the old Stromer Sport frame, not ST1)

Otherwise I'm super happy with it - just waiting to have decent weather to start riding it to work.

Thanks!

1. My 2013 ST1 Platinum only has the regen on the rear brake too. I like it as I can use the front brake to scrub off speed and still have power to the rear wheel.

2. The bottom bracket should be fine - just don't pressure wash that area. I've riden mine for three years and have washed it many time and I haven't had any problems with the bottom bracket.

3. I had the deluxe City Kit on mine until I made it more of a mountain bike. I installed a Fox Factory CTD fork and Smart Sam Plus knobby tires and had to remove them. They make a rear fender that attaches to your seat post, and another front fender piece that attaches to your down-tube - I use them on my pedal mountain bike in the winter.

I hope this helps!
