I came across these super caps and would like to know if anyone has used them. What I like about them is their cycle life > 5000.
I'm building 12 volt battery packs for an RV and would like to have something that is dependable, light and long lasting... I'm using optima lead AGM batteries now, and they seem to discharge too quickly, heavy and low cycle life. I'm done with lead.
I'm going to make a basic 40 amp hour battery to start with. I don't know what the best approach to balancing them would be? BMS? Any ideas on how to get there? I forgot, safety is big -- don't want to burn up.
