So I picked up this '98 SuperV because of the ultra cool inverted forks with hydraulic disc brake(Sachs power disc). I thought they would be an awesome front end for my next project. It turns out, C'dale don't service or stock parts for anything older than 5 years  Wondering if anyone knows of a company that would service those.super.jpgshame on them!

While this forum is amazing for ebike techincal questions, you may have better luck asking on pinkbike.com (or other non-powered cycling forums) with this particular question.

The fork was a good one, but totally obsolete by today's standard. The rebuild kit is not available anymore, this means you have to remove the seals and dust caps to measure them, then order them separately by size instead of a kit by the fork model. Apart of that, the fork is easy to service and if you replace the oil often, the seals will last much longer.

Modern forks are much lighter and tune better. IMO, this one belongs on the wall if you ride the mountain trails, but it might be worth a rebuild if you are gonna ride it on the street only.

That's great news! My riding is 99% road, so take it apart and remove seals and dust caps, huh?.. We'll see how it goes.
Thanks,
H

Do you know the year ?
Those forks were made in various models, some with air spring cartridge, some were on bearings instead of bushings. The year and travel should be a good indicator of which one it is exactly.

Anyway, you should find the manual for your fork here:
