But I am having trouble getting the discounted price. Is anyone else having this problem? I followed the link in the email and tried using the swarm code as the coupon code at checkout... Has everyone else gotten it to work?

I figured it was just me... It can be a bit picky to get it to work. What I had to do, was clear my cookies, and enter a new email in the swarmsale box AFTER the swamssale was 'complete'. Then you verify that email, in the same browser, and it adds it to the cart. You can then sign into your normal account and buy as many as you want.

If it is saying fake or duplicate users, reset your browser, and you need a new IP. Use a neighbors connection, your phone, or a work computer or something... Just dont use the same email more than once, or else THAT new IP will say 'fake' users again... The system isnt very good. But it DOES work.

I had trouble too getting the price, but if you get the verification email, then click on the 'verify' link, it adds the item to your cart at the correct price.

8 x 5000mah x 22.2v = 888wh of lipo on the way!

I really should get 2 more so I can say I have over 1kwh.

Price is valid for 24 hours from the CREATION... It didnt take long to get the 6 people required, so it should be like 20 hours or so?

Regardless, you can just make your own. Its easy enough, and all you NEED is 6 unique IP's and emails... If you have a few people with smartphones, its easy.
Or just post a link up here and im sure people will help you out.

Yeah!, LOL that was a PITA!

I couldn't get the price at first, but I finally got it,, thanks ZOMGVTEK for the instructions! I don't know if everything I did was required, but I cleared my cookies, changed my IP with the command prompt, made a new gmail, went to hobbyking w/o logging in and entered my new email, got my link, clicked verify, the lipo was added to my cart, I copied the link to the discounted lipo just in case, I logged in and it was still there, I updated the quantity and ordered with $0.01 shipping!!

Wow, what a deal this was! 3 6s 5ah lipos and a 2s 5ah lipo to replace a couple weak cells (hope the new packs don't have weak cells ) for only $143.79 shipped!!

I should note, that changing your local IP (on your computer) has no effect to what IP HobbyKing sees. You need a new internet connection, combined with a new email, and then it thinks you're a new user.

But this would only really be needed if you wanted to make a Swarm Sale on your own.
