Tarawhat's Electric Longboard Idea

Ok, so I have only been reading up on this stuff for about a week, but I'm in love with the idea of making an electric board. I've never used a longboard or skateboard before, but the idea of building my own has got me interested. I weigh about 53kg. From a couple guides and checking out other people's builds here's my idea so far.

The board:

Is this one good enough? How fast will it charge 1 of the batteries I'm getting?

The only other issue I can see is that the Memorex Nunchuck may not be compatible with the VESC based on

Although I like the look of the Memorex better, I may have to switch to a Nyko Kama nunchuck.

Im going to add color changing LEDs to the bottom (probably a strip down both sides) for night fun.

Any tips/thoughts?

What wheels and trucks are you planning on buying?

Im going to use rkp/paris trucks and 83mm abev flywheels which will come in the kit for mounting the motor.

The motor will work for our motor mount.

If you don't mind the added cost. I would recommend an iCharger 208B + HobbyKing 350W Power Supply.

I don't have an RKP truck adapter just yet a bit harder since the truck isn't completely mountable all across. However, I do have a truck adapter for the Hex TKP trucks.

I wasn't really sure what you were talking about at first, but I looked into it and I was talking about the prewelded kit (here), but I believe you were talking about this one (here). Would the second link be a better option? Ill look a little more into what style truck Ill want more.

Either works great. The bolt on motor mounts are definitely much more flexible as far as fitment goes. I'd say the bolt on.
