Stoked to try them out . They fit Mint. I can't believe he actually managed to make them for my weird "kunray" 3kw motor. I've been running it at 8300w with little heat on continuous runs....?
I figured I have some more room, (despite my axle being a little small lolol, thankfully I have a buddy willing to make a new one with stronger steel on his mill)
The entire motor has been redone with high temp halls and 12awg silicone wiring(100% should have ran 10awg, but the space in the axle housing would not allow it with loom in there aswell)
I'm definetly not going to be running 14kw for long.. but this setup should easily be able to handle peaks of it, IF the axle dosnt snap no? I know the wire will easily do peaks of it, I'm worried about the motor getting piping hot really quick.
But if I'm only peaking for 3-4 seconds at a time, I doubt It will even really get it warm considering my general putting around is around 4000w draw cont and the motor has no issues AT ALL, without the hubsinks.
I havnt decided wether I should actually spring for a branded ferrofluid or just fill it with ATF and seal it,vent hole? What do you guys think ?
Suuupeer exited about this lol, running a 22s4p molicel p42a pack in er, almost perfectly matched for the 15a charger on top with the j1772 port.
Thanks again Matt for the hubsinks!! Stoked to try them out. If anybody can point out which specific temp sensor I need to match the sabv 72150 controller , that would be dope. Aswell as maybe a diagram of where I actually install it as I've been super curious and can't seem to find much info on the topic.
