In Newz "Air Bag Recall Highlights Need for Smarter Operators ("drivers")"

Defective air bags manufactured by the Japanese company Takata Corporation have resulted in the largest auto recall in U.S. history, with nearly 34 million vehicles recalled as of last week, according to a statement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

(NO EBikers apparently affected by recall.)

The story of a man who walked into Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Friday carrying a loaded AR-15 semiautomatic rifle has gone viral. And here’s the most amazing part of it: his actions were completely legal, thanks to Georgia’s gun laws. Passed in 2014, the HB 512 Safe Carry Protection Act allows people to openly carry a rifle in an airport, so long as they don’t try to go through security.

(Man exclaimed: "After all, they legalized the 'Electric assisted bicycle'!")

Elsewhere: "The traffic regulation department at Israel police released a statement dubbing electric bicycles “murder weapons,” while transportation subdivision chief Sarit Philipson indicated she would push to regulate — and possibly criminalize — electric bike use in certain circumstances."

(Larger murder weapons (the "car", "SUV", etc) declared SAFE - when used in perfect conditions watt rarely/nEVer happen.)

"Toronto police report "uptick in collisions" along highways with HOV lanes."
("12 collisions reported between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. yesterday compared to zero during the same time period the previous week")
Sooo... from ZERO to TWELVE is an "uptick".

Apparently a "normal adjustment period" to become accustomed to the travel conditions.

Traffic was "very congested”.

Caught out there in "that" traffic. (Obviously caused by... those mysterious "others".)

OTOH, one report in March on a "bad weather" (snowy, slushy) day: Ontario Provincial Police have responded to about 250 accidents on OPP-patrolled highways in the "GTA".

So clearly only 12 "accidents" was a "good day".

Speaking with reporters on Tuesday morning, Kealy admitted that “traffic was very congested” as enforcement on the new lanes began on Monday but he said that it is his hope that drivers soon adjust their habits and either carpool or avoid the roads during morning and evening rush hours or get an "ebike".

Seen... somewhere:
Since 1990, more than 600 children have died in the U.S. alone from being left in hot cars, according to WebMD.

No word on the number of children that have died left unattended on an ebike.
