The Handy Tip thread

Not sure I'm qualified to give handy tips, since I'm such an expert at frocking up! :? Um, don't eat the yellow snow? If you see a bear in the woods, and he says he wants your ham sandwitch, LET HIM HAVE IT! If you get an invite as a special guest to a blanket party at Wrigley Field, DON'T GO! Seriously, Respect your elders, take care of yourself, and most importantly, FINISH WHAT YOU START! Don't forget to share the grin.

When working with fiberglass/carbon fiber cloth or mat make a sandwich of cloth or mat between two pieces of waxed paper using a minimal amount of spray glue like 3M77 on both sides of the cloth..

Once you have your sandwich made you can cut it to shape with only minimal frayed edges and you can trial fit it, when you are satisfied it fits well then peel off one side of the waxed paper and apply it where it's going, the spray glue helps it stay in place and the waxed paper still on the outside makes it cleaner to manipulate.

When the piece is in final position, peel off the last layer of waxed paper and apply your resin, working it through the fiber.
