Good morning.
Will a wire extension affect the ohms in a way to make my throttle inoperable?
I installed new handlebars and the throttle will not reach.
Das-Kit NCM Moscow

Thank you

The throttle input on a controller is high resistance and doesn't draw any significant current. It's going be like a thousand ohms or more in the input in comparison to a few ohms on your extension, if you did a sloppy job. So go ahead and extend it,

It shouldn't make a difference, as long as the connections all along the path are good.

You want to seal up the connections real good with heat shrink.
I had some weird, funky oddities once with rain and a damaged throttle - Off was wide open throttle and on was off, there were damaged wires at the entrance to throttle. In all honestly, even just a twist and quick but good ekectrical tape job I have done dozens of times and works good enough.
