Hi all,

For many years I've drawn inspiration and insight from the many posts from pioneers and pillars of this e-bike community. The innovation and ingenuity here, combined with the eagerness to help others never ceases to amaze me. I've been working on a prototype vehicle that I hope will resonate with many of the folks here and thought I'd share. We are working on a lighter eTrike bicycle-class version which we hope to bring to market.

Many thanks to Justin, Methods, Lyen and the many other lane-changers here who helped in getting to this (tipping) point. We'd love to hear your feedback, so please reach out. :D

Cheers,
Joel.

My money's on recumbent. (*Less* tipping plus not as far to hit the ground.)

EDIT: PLUS, more aero. Especially with a body shell eg the "velomobile".

Ah yes, but far more dangerous in traffic to be so low in visibility. Personal preference trade-off I guess.

Hehe... Currently rolling w/thin plastic pole mounted w/long yellow plastic streamers flapping (from top over five feet high. (Guess I'll be in trouble when the blind get drivers licenses.)

The pic you've attached to your post is too blurry and wierd-lens-effected to tell anything about the trike other than it has wheels and blue stuff on it.

Could you try uploading some pictures that actually show the trike? You might get more feedback from those that either can't or won't visit unknown websites (or social sites that can do stuff one doesn't want done to one's computer).

Without that, I'm afraid I and at least some others can't help you much. :(

Regarding the 'bent vs upright thing, there are also many compromises, such as my SB Cruiser:
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=67833
which doesn't have a big tipping problem even though it is a delta, rather than tadpole, and I am seated at car-driver height, or higher.

Apparently my service provider is more forgiving?

Yet another tilting trike that answers zero questions that aren't adequately addressed by a bicycle.

A recurrent solution in search of a problem.

I don't have many pics casually, so I'll see what I can do and post here. Cheers!

Hey Chalo, I'm not sure exactly what you mean, confused by your statement. Can you elaborate?

Hmm. Strange. Can you tell me what country or state you are in? Do the facebook and instagram links work?
Cheers,
Joel

Was at work, had to look at the photo at home. Lots of stuff doesn't work at work, including me.
P.S. I'm right near the meeting of the LA/OC divide, just dry of the tsunami limit line; I hope.

I mean, tilting trikes come back in different guises all the time, with the laudable goal of mitigating the drawbacks of conventional trikes. The thing is, at best they come out with the same virtues as a bicycle-- but much greater cost, complexity, weight, proprietary components, and efficiency losses.
