Torque Arm V2 mounting AND fenders?

Can Grin Tech's TorqArm_V2 be mounted when you have fenders already installed on the bicycle? It uses the fender eyelet as a mount point, but I'm wondering if they supply a bolt long enough to span both and if the positioning allows that to be possible—for instance, if a fender being there means it'll lose leverage if they have to be mounted on the same side of the fork.

(Because of the styling of this particular bicycle, I don't want to remove the fenders).

Thanks!

try it out and check the number of threads that the bolt uses . If not enough buy a longer bolt from a hardware store. Take the the old bolt with you for sizing.

The V2 version bolts to the fender eylet on the fork. Use a long enough bolt, and you can put the fender stay and a nut on the backside.

Good hardware store will have the bolt in a longer size, or a home improvement store if closer to you.

Thanks, there won't be a loss of pressure/twisting because I'm bolting it against the fender nut. Should I put another washer there or is what is in the kit good enough?

Perhaps you misunderstand. Bolt the TA to the fender eylet using a much longer bolt. Getting that TA to lay flat and perfect is crucial. Use c washers if you have a cup on the fork for QR wheels.

Then on the other side of the fender stay, use an additional nut to attach the fender strut.

Yes I misread. I either didn't realize you wanted me to flip the fender on that side to use the backside of the fork euelet (or if that was even possible, I thought the fender stay might rub against the spokes), or I didn't realize the torqarm_v2 goes on the inside of the eyelet. I'll try it on her bike when all the stuff comes.

(I'm aware of the need for the C washers on the fork if it has a QR mount (her bike does not), but that area is not different than normal.)

I was thinking TA on the outside, fender stays on the inside. Fender stays may need some bending to fit there and not rub the tire.

Lots of possibilities, but the important thing is the TA is correct. Fender struts could literally be tied to the fork with wire if nothing else works.

GrinTech support recommended that I install the TorqArm v2 on the opposite side of the motor wires and get a longer bolt and put the fender over the torque arm on the outside of the fork.

In my case, it turns out the bolts used for the fenders were an extra half centimeter longer than necessary which is enough to add the torque arm without getting a longer bolt when mounted according to GrinTech's suggestion. (I still used the bolt in order to shorten the fender bolt on the opposite side to prevent rubbing against the motor on that side). I could not mount the fender on the inside because I'd need a longer bolt, need a securing nut for that side (fork fender eyelets don't need nuts), and the combination would rub against motor (not the spokes, doh!).
