Hello again, I have been here before and received some advice but did not act on it immediately as old age got in the way, and now I have misplaced my notes. The issue is the need to replace the existing controller in my E Trike. It is the typical Chinese Harley look and I use it as PMV and do occasionally use the full range of speed it currently has, but mostly I ride it at around 25kph. I have had three controllers from the retailer all supplied under warranty so you can see there is an issue with what I have got and I want it to be reliable as when it breaks down I am buggered. Someone in Endless Phere Land made a couple of recommendations when I last wrote but now I MUST do it.
Please suggest a CONTROLLER that with give me a gentle start off the line and not neck-snapping as I have now. It has to be self-install and programmable coz I like to tinker but that is not an issue and I have included a couple of pics that might help someone tell me what to buy. I certainly don't want something cheap and nasty as I believe what I have now is, just good honest value.

A couple of questions.
Does the current controller have the power you need for your purposes?
Do you ride using throttle or pedal assist or both?

Thanks for asking. Does it have enough power I guess so, I mean I just most around on it, mainly go fishing or local supermarket. Have done a few 30k round trips on which I find it a bit wanting. It is all throttle this does not have pedals. It is a three wheel moped and comfortable to ride. I may do as much as 10k looking for fish, but all locally, up and beach in tracks or paths but not sand. Bloody hopeless in soft going which is a pity.
Simplicity is the keyword along with reliability so I look forward to any input and I want to act quickly instead of dragging my feet.

Consider the Kelly KEB Series or Sabvoton SVMC Series controllers for reliability and smooth acceleration. They're programmable for gentle starts and self-installable, suited for your E Trike needs. I was in a bind with a deadline approaching, but DoMyPaper came through for me. Their service at Write My Paper For Me | Paper Writing Service by DoMyPaper is impressive. The writer delivered a high-quality paper that was exactly what I needed. The customer service was also excellent. I highly recommend DoMyPaper for anyone in need of writing assistance.
Any update?

Thanks, that’s helpful. I noticed the controller label shows high brake. I forgot to ask if there are any other accessories like brake lights that connect to the controllers as well?

I think the KT line of controllers may provide smoother throttle response since it’s power based rather than speed based (they refer to it as torque simulation in their literature.
