So, I was browsing craigslist one day and suddenly I see a "Gary Fisher" bike with virtually no description listed for $250. I look at it. Is that a cargo bike? WTF is that? That would be a great bike for another ebike conversion. So after some google I realize this is a Trek Transport. Holy Crap! This bike sells used for $800. I call this guy up and race over like a maniac. I ask him about the bike, kind of concerned it is stolen. Apparently this guy won this bike in a raffle at work. The 2 years of dust on it and absolutely perfect finish support his story. I hand him that cash and GTFO before he can change his mind. I was so unbelievably excited. Normally I couldn't justify the cost of a bike like this. I ride it around a bit. Not a bad bike at all, I even did some non motorized shopping with it. I knew it was going to be awesome once it had a motor. So I do the standard BBS-02 conversion. Freaking fantastic now. Plus I just feel so cool riding this thing around. It's kind of like riding a unicorn. Very few people seem to be aware of the TT, even the Trek dealer that does my wheels. The frame flex in reviews was really overstated. Recently I've started using this bike as my fishing transport vehicle. I easily hold a 5 gallon bucket to bring fish home to be cleaned and cooked. And the bike can go to far out places that I would normally never dream of fishing miles off of trails, virgin waters. I really like this bike!
