trike passed by ebike - UK

This guy was motoring along, left me like I was standing still, and I was doing 21mph up a slight incline. I'm sure he gets a lot of pleasure out of that bike.

It must be illegally modified though, because electric bikes are supposed to have no more than 250W of power, and to stop assisting at 15mph, and this guy was still getting assist at above 25mph. I don't mind though, I'd much rather see loads of these around than the same people in their cars. I hope I'm not being snobby by totally disregarding any chance of this chap riding that incline at 25mph. No disrespect intended.

LOL, that made my day. I think he had to make that comment just because he spent £3000
on a laid-back bike and didn't expect a cyclist to pass him. Shouting out european legislation on his bike.
Try shouting out european legislation down the local project or council estate and he won't need

I used to subscribe to this guy on YouTube a while back but stopped as I found him to be irritating to the MAX, he basically films all his commutes through London on his trike and barks at people that dare to over take him, I mean some of them are I suppose legit but many are perfectly OK, I think most of the time they don't see him as he is so low down and he also goes really fast too.

Barking the law at someone going to work on their ebike? I mean its got to grate when you are cycling along in the UK and a South African is barking at you that you are breaking the law? ha ha tongue firmly in cheek! ha ha, I also stopped subscribing coz all you ever seemed to see was his girly legs whizzing around ha ha, he just didn't like being overtaken by a builder on an Ebike LMFAO

Oh ye of little faith. Riding my trike in Chicago hasn't been anymore dangerous then most places. San Francisco is a lot worse and they have real hills to boot. Cars in Chicago tend to give me about 4 or 5 feet of clearance. I've rode worse roads in UT and PA but Chi town could do a lot better. Like Portland, OR for instance. By the way, why weren't there any Turkey legs at the Taste this year?
