The best place to source anything for the tsdz16 is Alibaba.Deal with the factory direct. They will do MQO 1 now . I save 25% on amazon and aliexpress prices excluding discount codes.gutted I missed that trick..they had UK stock ,so only few days delivery. Not the 6 weeks min like back in the early days.
I got my tsdz16 for £350 around $420 handy number. My friend picked one up the following week hassel free also and the sales rep also gave us good prices on batteries to. I got a 52v 10ah my friend a 48v20ah.both have the EDK 01 display. The display and control preset for 36v,48,52,.
Yes these motors producers are never gonna sell,the perfect product out the box. But come guys for this price range to have this power and tech, its hard to moan. I just accept there always gonna be longevity issues with a this type of product.but I don't think there is better bang for your buck at this price point..
Fully agree on the nylon shite, they get popular enough for 3rd party product at a manageable price range.

Zrobiłem na tsdz16 ok 200km i jestem trochę zawiedziony, jest moc ale w sumie to tyle z plusów.
Dwa duże problemy:

1. • Na każdym biegu, który jest gotowy do użycia, aby uruchomić moc, zadziałanie jak na bafangu z napędami.
   • Dlaczego manetka ma ograniczenie do 1000W jest prawie bezużyteczna.

Wcześniej tsdz8, tam wrzuciłem 5 biegów i można było zapomnieć o zmianie biegów. Dzięki za poradę i pomoc.

Wow I just finished installing one of these and in stock form this thing is hot garbo. The throttle takes forever to kick in, the throttle ramp is set too low, the PAS setting is too low (even on max setting). Someone really needs to make an open firmware for this and a better gear material for this thing to be of any use.

What grease do u put between the 2 copper rotary plates I've ordered conductive grease will that be ok to use

Any news on this yet anybody? Would be very much appreciated as have just bought my kit and would like to tinker with it some for some speed, throttle snappiness, torque sensing changes, etc. Does OSF void your warranty though? Sorry I'm new to this ahaha. Bit of worry about hearing about the nylon gears in this thread and would rather keep my warranty intact... Thanks in advance everyone

It will void warranty for sure. And I think it is still quite long time till it is developed. No news if anybody started even.

Can you confirm what the capacitor voltages are? Can see some in the photos but not all. Trying to work out if I can get away with a 15S battery.

All the cap voltages are rated at 63v

Actually, you are right, it is UART. I guess I just assumed it was CANBUS because most people use the EKD01 with it, but I guess they're using the UART variant of the display. I wonder if the EKD01 display is the thing causing the issues with delayed throttle response.

From reading what other's have stated, the delayed throttle is likely part of the firmware to protect your drivetrain. If you start pedaling and then engage the throttle the response is much faster.

Looking to get one soon. Might look into making a new smaller chainring with the correct offset and ordering some PEEK gears from a company that can 3D print or machine them.

I see one capacitor is 63v 680uf.

What are the specs on that capacitor that reads SLF? Thank you!
