Just installed a TSDZ2 on my friends Cattrike 559. Compared to my ICE Sprint I have much more power especially on hills. We have the exact setting but when going into the sub menu for Torque Signal Value his 559 reads 108 and my ICE is 65...not sure what that means or if it could have anything to do with the lack of power.
Thoughts?.....

Thanks!

Jim

If you have a TSDZ2 what do you have for your initial torque value?

Press buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds under ODO menu, then only press "i" to show
“ODO”, “TRIP”, “AVG”, “TIME” , “TE” and “TE1” respectively.
Under submenu “TE”, press "i" again, it shows initial torque value

My ICE trike is 65

You can calibrate that. I assume you are on stock firmware? What about your power settings (the A setting in "hidden" menu).

Yes stock firmware. Tell me more about the “A” setting in the hidden menu..

Thanks!

Go to hidden menu and look at the "A" setting. I've attached a manual - see page 8. I'm assuming you have the VLCD5 lcd.

Yes checked that out. I believe I had read somewhere that changing the setting had no impact on the power. The amp setting could only be changed in the firmware?
