A few days ago, I got the bright idea that maybe I should install the throttle for use in case I injure a knee or something while out on a ride.

The intent was to hook it up, but leave Settings/Temperature set to "Temperature" and just change it to "Throttle" if/when.

But, even set to "Temperature", the system seems tb limited to 20w of Power Assist. Disconnect the throttle cable, and it's back to normal - observing the various levels defined in Setup.

Feature or bug?

Not all that big of a deal to just connect the throttle... but there is a contamination issue on the uncovered plugs so it seems worth finding out if there is a workaround.

If you have installed the temperature sensor you cannot install the throttle at the same time.
If you have not installed it, why set Feature to "Temperature"?
If you have only installed the throttle and do not want to use it, you must set Feature to "Disable".

I remind you that in case of need, you can use the virtual throttle. Look in the manual.
