Hi, Guys!

My name is Ognyan Bozhilov. I'm new to the forum but I'm quite keen on EV technology and I've developed a project that might be interesting to some of you. Please check it out on the link below, I'd be happy to hear your opinion. Initially it was done as a design exercise but since I went quite a bit into details I'm thinking of possible means to create a prototype right now. Not an easy job - I know, that's why would be happy to get as much feedback as possible - about the idea itself and about potential problems during a physical construction.

Welcome to the forum. The design looks great! I would have some serious concerns about the strength of the frame and suspension, the height of the rider's feet, and the suitability of such tiny wheels on real roads. I'd also worry about those ... leg wings?... the lower guard around the legs. what problems will those cause during an accident such as a roll over?

Thanks, guys.

I have to admit that the frame is very different from everything currently on the market and especially from conventional bike frames, so I'm not sure it would work, at least not before running virtual or real life load tests on it. Same goes for the suspension, despite the fact that I've looked in quite a large numbers of reference photos about it. Concerning the wheels - the idea was to use similar size to moped ones, only narrower to lower the friction and improve efficiency. The leg wings are more like a plastic covers for the upper frame structure so their addvantages/dissadvantages would strongly depend on how successful the frame is.

Thanks for the notes however - there's certainly a lot to think about them. I'll keep updating the thread, when I have progress.
;)

Nice design work :D , I would like to know your max speed because this will determine the design safety. You need to be able to clear the guards etc in an accident.

The fold down guards could have high efficiency solar panels for charging while parked

Also where are you from?

Cheers Kiwi

Fun Ognyan... Ya made it onto the TechEBlog site:
