Hi y’all! I’m brand new here and hoping someone can help me out.
I picked up two of these scooters this morning at an estate sale for $260 in unknown condition but look to be almost new.
One had dead batteries that won’t take a charge, the other charged up fine.
When I turn the key all lights come on and the light shines well. But when I turn the throttle the motor squeals a little and it wants to go but it won’t with any weight on it. If I lift the rear tire it goes just fine.
At first I thought maybe the motor or controller. Now I’m thinking new batteries are the cure because I switched the batteries to the one with dead batteries and that one did the same thing.
I ordered a six new batteries either way but figured I’d run it past the group here for any additional feedback.
