Silent Hawk is a hybrid engine bike for use in reconnaissance missions
For normal operations, the bike would use diesel, gasoline or jet fuel
Close to enemy lines, the bike would run almost silently on electricity

I think a good bit of us here could "crystal ball" 90% of the bike, since we all know what it needs/takes based on whatever specs they say it has... :lol:

Sure. It's called "defence spending".
 
...If there was ever an argument for running a hub motor over a mid-drive, the goal of silence would see the the hub win hands down - especially paired with a good sine wave controller.

...more like a mostly silent bike.

The Silent Hawk’s electric system is from Alta Motors. “They have purpose built this battery pack to be of higher density … They have an active cooling system in it that insures that even if there is a cell failure that one cell will fail with no explosion. It will remain operational,” said Dzwill. It’s very similar same multi-cell system in today’s Tesla cars.
