It's going to court the first of next month. In a nut shell, They can put on tariffs but thru the process not saying tariffs on, tariffs off. So the craziness should calm down. We will need to wait and see.
Will be interesting who the last mile carrier is and if you'll have to pay tariff before package release. I have not bought anything since de mininus was cancelled on May 2nd. Last mile on all my free shipping orders within the past 2 years were mostly delivered by a private courier (Better Trucks) within 8 to 10 days of placing the order. Now I see on aliexpress shipping methods specified: USPS, DHL, Fedx, UPS etc, so they can charge you tariff I suppose? Before this tariff BS, shipping method was not specified as I remember.I just ordered some items. $7 plus free shipping on aliexpress if I ordered two. So I did, and the email said they shipped. Apparently, if de minimus waiver is gone, they still haven't started charging it yet. Or it won;t arrive and be thrown in a warehous which will quickly fill up.
