Use usb port from VLCD5 for the front light ?

Hi,

Has anyone tried to use the USB port of the VLCD5 display to power their front lamp?
What maximum intensity can we get from there?

It's USB. Figure on 1/2 amp. I use mine to power small rechargeable LED lights and assumed the currents were low. I will have to check it. The VLDC5 would be an expensive recharger to blow up,

Thanks for your answer.
I did a test, and in practice, it is notoriously insufficient to power a LED that really lights up.

I will choose another solution.
