Using RC Pack Nimh for pack instead of SLA

Vpower is bad, better off using Lipo, Lipo really is the cheapest option for what you get.



I use to be worried about lipo, But i could not be less concerned with it now, I treat them right, They treat me right.
Iv stabbed new packs before, Iv actually tested turnigy and zippy cheap cells with lots of abuse methods...

The worst thing that has ever happened to me, keeping a x2 series strings in my falcon ev bag due to not having Parallel cable
1 pack for the ride there, 1 pack for the ride home.. Forgot to change them, And got home with Lipo Ballons, Looks like they were about to bust their bellys at the seams
Since then, Iv had 2 cells randomly die on me, out of Heaps of packs.. no other failures other wise id be posting them up on here...

Thanks for all your help everyone. I've decided to save up for a BMSbattery pack, the shipping is quite a bit but I think it will be worth it.

I've got my mind on a 48v 15ah or 20ah battery.

NiMH not only can't be charged in parallel, it can't be discharged in parallel if you're counting on it sharing current evenly between cells (or cell strings).
