V-POWER HK SENT ME A BAD BATTERY

you repaired a 48V SLA charger by replacing a capacitor and installed some new wires where you think a 'shunt' should be? and the charger puts out 60V? your old lifepo4 charger has burned up? your original question was about the red charging wire and how it melted, is that still happening?

I had it working on my sla batteries. Worked for a whole 10 minutes and then poof, lol. I didn't try it on the lifepo4 battery. The fuse blew. Replaced it and still nothing. Is there a way of testing capacitors? Because I used a lower voltage one than the original. Because it was all I could find at work. I used a 50v capacitor the original one says 63v. I have to admit even having it work for 10 minutes was pretty good, considering I wasn't sure what I was doing. Learning experience :).

The wire was melting with the charger vpower sent me. It was defective. He's sending me a new one. Hopefully it'll work this time.

I added 2 pictures. Again sorry about quality it's the iphone camera. I circled in green where I think there was a shunt.
