My valve stem gets crooked and worries me. 24s A123 with muxus 3,000 5t 90amp sine wave. Plus my regen is off the hook. Yes trying to flash it. But back to the slippery stem. I was told baby powder good. I use the 5x slime tube with sefas forgot tires.

TIre pressure is probably too low. That's what causes it for me.

If you need the lower pressure, or if it's not low, youll need to install some form of Rim Lock (there's posts about those in various wheel/tire threads), or else glue the tire beads to the rim. Sanding the rim and tire bead might help, but it didnt' on the one case I had of that. (gluing did)

I've found that with most of my rims, one brand of tire fits loose, and slips like hell. Seems to happen when the tire gets low, but not THAT low.

Bottranger tubes are my choice, but I've come to hate it when a new bike comes with a bottranger tire on it.

I have found the innova tires ( often branded bell) at Walmart or whatever fit tighter, and then the slippy problem vanishes.

Chalo probably would be the expert on this, but I think you can rough up the edges of the rim with sandpaper; haven't had the problem in a long time, but AIR did that in the old days.

Talcum powder is put inside tubes so they won't stick shut when freshly manufactured and packed. It doesn't actually do anything for us after that except to keep the tube from sticking to the tire (which isn't a problem per se).

If you use pressure so low that the tire shifts, I'd try washing off the talcum powder from tube and tire before resorting to adhesives or clips. As for scuffing up the rim bead hook, I can't say whether that would work because I've never seen it done in practice.

55 psi sefas drifter city dual density. I see x's on the side wall. But this my be the tire I run home with rip off stem. 7,000 watts and trying for lower regen ( different story ) this rocks xx to hard. Yes yes reprogram. It's in the star's.

If your tire is slipping at 55psi, something is not right. I'd wash the tire, tube, and rim, and gently scuff any gloss or mold release off the tire bead where it clinches the rim.

Go tubeless maybe? the sealant might help glue the bead.

Gluing the bead to the rim is an option, if you must use that tire.

When I tried roughing up the rim, it did not seem to do much to help. Changing to a tight fitting tire did.
