Looking at the Typhoon V2.0, is it worth the money? Can you wheelie it easy? http://vectorebike.com/bikes/typhoon-v2-0-10000-watt.html

Or should I go for a "Made by Allex" Flux freeride? http://envolt.se/products.html

I don't know much about these things so building one is not a good Idea, I want it to be fast and a wheelie machine like the Stealth Bomber B52 (3:18 in https://youtu.be/zEdETIjfngo )

What do you guys say? Allex seems to be using the MXUS 3000 but not sure what that means. Sorry for my ignorance  Any feedback would be appreciated!

Sorry, not turning up much on Vector. must be doing something wrong, could you perhaps help with the search and post some links, only for Vector please I already have threads on the Flux

Ah ,I hink I found it now https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=68385&hilit=Vector+typhoon

why don't you try calling or email Allex for starters. And if you live in or close to Stockholm maybe you can go and test drive his new beta built.
i have a Allex made battery and my adaptto comes from him and he have always been really helpful whit any questions regarding my built.
i also have a vector frame and there is absolutely noting wrong whit it, for a complete typhoon i can't say. Arthur have also been nice to deal whit but there is a bit more of a languish barrier there then whit Allex especially when you are from Sweden.

Welcome to the forum grashopper. :)

If you fancy a Bomber style bike the Flx Beta from allex is more like the Stealth Fighter. Check with him I am sure he could even build you an ebike based on the Flx Alpha as you will see the Alpha is like the Stealth Bomber B52.
Bigger batterybox for even more batteries and more range but more heavy then the Beta. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80490

The FLX frames are made and designed by the good folks at Stealth e-bikes in australia.

Vector has sold a lot of frame kits to ES members. Steel frames with big battery box. The typhoon is Vectors turnkey ready build top of the line bike. Powerful and ready to ride when you get it. There are a lot of Vector build threads on the forum where you can see Vector bikes being build and see what components they choose and why. There are different motors, controllers and batteries. The one thing they all got in common is that it is a sturdy bike, with plenty room in the frame.

What will fit you and your style of riding only you know that. But I would say you can't go wrong with either of them.

Thanks guys, I am awaiting awnser from Allex, What makes it difficult is that they are almost the exact same price for me. It takes some thinking.

After an accident and would like to get into E bikes for easier transport. My foot is not terrible but not great either, I just don't feel like I can do all the stuff I want on my bike that would be "unlocked" with an E bike.

I had my eye on the Vector Typhoon V2.0 but the pedals are located on the swingarm, I was talking to a member about this and he said I would feel all bumps and uneaven ground through my feet more easily with this design. That has put me off completely. So now I am thinking of buying a "Beta" bike from him instead because it has a different design.

Does anyone here own a "Beta" bike and can tell Me how well you feel bumps etc? I do not plan on doing any hardcore off road but some nice trails would be nice. I guess it depends on the suspension but my current normal bike only has front suspension and no rear so it should not be much of a problem.

I guess my questions are:
1. Is the Vector is a bad Idea due to my foot? 2. How well can you feel bumps and uneaven ground in light terrain with the differently designed Beta frame in comparison?

Hi Cricket-Wheelie,

you might want to look at those fat bikes that have 4 inch rims that have balloon tires on them, they should take up a fair bit of shock absorption.

Bruce.
