vertical play in tongsheng tsdz2 bottom bracket

hi, i'm experiencing some vertical play in my bottom bracket. it's perpendicular to the length of the tongsheng tsdz2. i'm wondering if other units have this issue as well, and if so how to fix it?

i tried a few combos:
1) two copper washers + lock ring
2) one copper washer + wave washer + lock ring (didn't fit)
3) two lock rings (didn't fit)
4) two copper washers + wave washer + lock ring (didn't fit)
5) one wave washer + lock ring (original setup)


unfortunately none of these combos reduced the movement. its not that there is too much space along the length of the bottom bracket, so it doesn't seem like it matters how many washers I put along this way. the play may be within the gearing inside the bottom bracket itself?

That could just be bearing play as the original bearings are not the best quality. I listed the numbers for replacements on the non-hub motor section, which is probably where you should place this also.
