Vevor ZWK7244 Controller - Solder in some unused features?

Hey everyone - I have used this site many of times just researching different things about the ebike world and figured I should post something since I have a ton of questions and really hope I can get some feedback from everyone regarding what I am wanting to do.

I have a 3000w Vevor motor and a Vevor ZWK7244 controller. I didn't purchase these I sort of inherited this bike from a friend who went up the road and have made the bike much better through different little projects I've done. My goal here is to see if I can solder in some features to this controller because it looks like just the basics were given for the controller being that it is Vevor branded. Now, I'm a systems engineer and i'm 37 years old so I know a bit about electronics, computers, and I rebuild cars as a hobby so I should be able to keep up with any advice given.

On the controller there are the following connections available and being used. I created this in PCB creator and photoshop to make it easier to see what is going on without all the wires in the way. We have the normal hall sensor, brake low, throttle, reverse, and gear selection. The two orange cables in the bottom right are giving a high voltage and one is used for the ignition that grounds out in order for the controller to have power and turn on and the other goes to the headlight connection. Now you can see here that there are a ton of things not being used on this controller. I contacted Vevor trying to get the actual manufacturers documentation of this controller but they dont have it and they couldnt help me at all. But what i'm guessing is that there is intelligent learning, cruise control, ebs, etc... all right here and not being used. Do you guys know any of these abbreviations? I have searched for them and get no where. I just want to know if there are things I can add to this controller just by soldering in a few wires and having whatever feature it may be.

This controller has 18 mosfets and 100v capacitors

Now here I think this is something for a UART display. It has the RX and TX and GND. But what are the 1D, 2D, 3D??? also a little further off to the right you can see a solder point for TEMP. I dont know if this is for the motor temp? I'm guessing it would be. IMG_20260427_091205339_HDR.jpg

Welcome to the forum.
Since a lot of these boards are used with different configurations, there’s no guaranty that all functions are supported. You could test the three speed switch contacts to see if they affect performance. Usually in the default setting (not connected), it will default to normal power/speed. Grounding the S-L will decrease the speed/power, and high (grounding S-H) usually applies some type of timing or field weakening to run at a higher speed, but at the cost of a lot more current in doing so.
