I need help with making sense of the Votol software. It seems that no matter what firmware your Votol is running, it comes back with 1.13. The Software also seems to be 2.32 regardless of what you are using. I can setup and program newer controllers, but not some older ones. I have a couple of EM-100 controllers (EM72330) from 2020 that I cannot program. I can open the various interfaces/versions I have, however, updating parameters does not affect operation.
I have heard that as the hardware of the controllers has improved of added functionality, short-cuts where made with the GUI interface that change either the value or the register that the data is being written to. So as a result, the values you attempt to update are not updated.
In summary, if you do not have the right version of software to match your firmware, then you will not be able to make the necessary update to successfully update the firmware. So, if anyone knows anything about how to understand this, or have older software (2020 of before), please post here.
