My setup is very similar to knightmb's. Except that I have smaller (10AH) batteries that weigh about 4 lbs less. My overall bike weight is about 66 lbs; also about 4 less.
Bike breaks down as so:
Hub motor 6 Kg, 4Kg lighter then a 5X
Battery 14 Kg, three 12Ah lead bricks
Bike ~16 Kg, cro-mo mtn bike thing.
Tires, rack, front rim >4 Kg
45 lb full suspension $80. Huffy and 3 speed Sachs hub with freewheels sprockets and chain.
5 lb motor/controller.
14 lbs Lithium 12 Ah batteries at 72 volts.
Total weight of ebike= 64 lbs.

Bike c/w hub and motor/controller total 38lbs
37V 15Ah Lipo Battery 9lb (this is in my ruck sack)
My weight 180lbs
This is a light bike as its stripped of most of the usual bike stuff and handles the best out of all my rides, the weight distribution is perfect, I can lift the bike with 1 finger! (just) no its so light, easy for me to lift and carry up steps and over farm gates when out on the trails, I know not all people would be happy with the battery on their backs but I am! as the increase in bike handling is quite noticeable.
Heck I lost 50lbs in total weight in the last couple of years through cycling I think I can hold 9lb on me without too much trouble!!
Columbia Trailhead mountain bike 41lbs. (18kg)
44V 17.6Ah lithium ion battery 11lbs. (5kg)
Crystalyte 5304 motor on 26" tire 26lbs. (12kg)
Controller + throttle + lights +etc 9lbs. (4kg)
We have everything in our house set to kilograms and Celsius to get the kids used to metric - conversions to pounds are approximate. I weighed the complete bike and got 39kg. The weights of the sub-components come from Google (and the battery, from a scale).
