I sometimes dream that I am a killer, and go around in a calm state killing hundreds of people with swords and my hands. Normally they are all after me, so I kill to defend myself. One time I slammed a window onto a man's neck and proceeded to chop his legs off with a machete.

I'm not sure how I missed this.


Oh, I'm also very disorganized. Like I got complained at because there's a bunch of boxes in my room that I got stuff mailed to me in. My workbench is no better:

One dream I was being chased by hundreds of androids. They were all programmed to kill me, the reason I do not recall. The entire dream was spent hacking up and destroying these androids that were not distinguishable from humans. The last one to die in that dream was a black lady with cornrows. I pushed her off a 3 story building roof after crushing her neck in my hands. Crazy dream :lol:

Okay, time to explain why I didn't take the more conventional methods. Ear-plugs would fall out of my ears which means I'd then awake. And, yes, I tried this over several nights and even followed the directions(Lightly roll the ear-plugs into a small compressed shape, lift the pinna with the other hand and insert and hold in place until the foam has expanded. Release and enjoy! Haha. Not.).

Another conventional solution? A fan! Yeah, except the noise still got over it. It seems no amount of droning will drown out a sufficiently low-pitched loud noise.

And then I tried white-noise. And my own custom remix of nature sounds. Yep, nope, noise still snuck in, the sneaky bastards!

And now I have a box. I'm thinking two enclosed boxes + white noise equals general awesomeness. My single box actually works fairly well, as I've recently discovered, since it appears there's "Low spots" inside, that is, areas where the sound levels are especially low. I guess these must be the "nodes" of the sound-waves.

I can get these suckers deep into the canal. I use a lot of power tools and these orange jobbies are quite good for that and for sleeping.

Potential causes for this problem:

1. Cavernous ear canals.
2. Earplug to earwax compression ratio too high.
3. Earplug ejection by ear mites.
4. Somnosneeze hyperpressurization ejection. (Rare condition).
5. High speed tossing and turning ejection due to centripetal forces.

Maybe you should go in for some observation to see which it could be.
