Im building an Omnium Mini-Max cargo bike from a frame-kit.
As u maybe can se in the picture I've mounted a Bafang BBS01 middrive e-motor.
I know would like to find a battery that I somehow can mount beneeth the front rack of the bike (See attached image).
The battery must be easy to remove and take inside to charge over night. It should have some kind of lock and on/off switch. Almost like a rear rack battery without the rack.

1. Anyone got an idea where to find one. Preferly something cheap from ebay (china). Or something almost cheap from i.e. Germany or G.B. with warranty.
2. How do I connect the battery with Bafangs cable. See attached image.

It should be an 36v, approx 9-12ah.

Can this be something?

It should be quite possible to get a battery that would normally slide into the rear rack, including the mounting plate.

Then it's just a matter of coming up with some mounting points to attach that mount plate to. And then your battery slide onto the plate, locking in place same as if it was on a rear rack.

I'm not sure who sells the battery with the plate, I would assume you'd get that mount plate with any of them. The company I work for sells them that way, but we don't ship batteries outside the USA. Just ask your vendor if you get the mount with the battery.

And,,, Nice cargo bike you are going to have! I need to get off my ass, and build a "tub bike" one of these days. Just for the pure fun of building it.

Thanks for the respond.
I've found a couple of potential batterys with "rear rack cases" on ebay/aliexpress.
The problem is that from the battery "docking station" there is just 2 cut wires.
So I guess I need to attach an connector/plug by myself. That eithar fit the connectors already install att the bafang motor cables or cut them aswell and mount new connectors also there.

This is the part were I need guidance.

The battery you have on your post comes with a mounting plate.
Why not get a rear cargo rack something like this that has a plate so you can mount the battery bracket.

Or get some aluminum flat bars and mount them under the cargo frame so that there is a place to mount the battery bracket.
Those battery plugs are very common they come in hobby motors or power wheel toys.
Can't tell but I think you might have to strip a computer power cord to get the power out of the battery and add some plugs to the end so that it reach the BBS01.
Unless I am mistaken and that is the charge port but it also has a charger in the picture so idk.
