What controller for brushed motor?

I'm saving up some money to buy a mars ME0708/ME0709, but I need a controller. My budget for the motor and controller is $700. Shipping is going to cost.

What I plan to do.
Currently I plan to run the motor at 8hp using 48v. This means all I need is 125A. A 350A or 400A controller is way above what I need. So I was thinking about using a golf cart controller.Then I started writing this thread and saw the Kelly kdz48300

Problem:

If the golf cart controller, I choose can do 48v/150A, can I use it with the Mars motor?
Are there any other low price controllers(120A-200A) in the range of $200?
Is the kelly kdz48300, a better deals since it programmable?

The pro-150 current for 1minute is 140A and running my motor at 120A will most overheat it in less than 15minutes.
