What do you think of my controller?

I have this controller(hub motor kit since at least 5 years ago), never open it but recently did just to inspect and clean and reapply heat paste

I wanted also to apply copper to the heavy soldering rails but I saw that it has some sort of wire already so I apply only where it didn't have(a corner)

From what I see it has 18 mosfets, so what do you think of my controller? is it good, bad, average? (how can I improve him if I want in the future?) also does it have any regeneration braking? (when I don't have the battery connected if it's on from switch the light stays lit if my bike is moving, if I move faster the faster it lights up ..so no idea if it has any sort of reneneration braking by itself)

Here are the pics(oh and tech details it's a 48v 1000w controller)

One thought of "upgrading" was to put another 18 mofsets on top of these(with each having individual heatsinks) ..don't know if it will help much - My current battery setup is a 12v 5A x4(48v 5A) combined with a supercapacitor 59.4v 22.72F (I had a 51.2v 20Ah LiFePO4 but cells were really bad and after a year or so, some cells died, order some others that came dead(of course I got refund) but I was pissed and leave it on the side, the battery wasn't cheap but the battery cells were no-name brand :p). Why did I have hybrid battery? well if you full throttle much these SLA batteries turn hot(not too hot but hot) with the supercapacitor bank the batteries are very cool and I still have better performance and a bit longer range :D (actually I didn't find anyone that did that and report it somewhere and it was like ..should I do it? ..supercapacitor costed me quite much but it will last way longer than any battery so I invest in that)

---Sorry for the long post  ---

It doesn't look bad for a 5 years old one. There are a couple of projects with some big blue supercapacitors. But nothing as a deep review.

Could you share that capacitors specifications?

I'm sure it is interesting for small batteries and high current demand.
