hi
i found that battery data in a webshop, and maybe they are wrong, or i have totally misunderstand some basics:
3.2V 20AH LiFePO4 Polymer Battery Cell
Specification
NO. Item Specification
1 Nominal capacity 20 Ah@ 0.3C5A(6000mA)
2 Nominal voltage 3.2 V
3 Impedance <5 mΩ
4 Charge cut-off voltage 3.65 V
5 Charge current Standard charge:0.3C5A
1C5A Rapid charge: 1C5A
6 Standard Charging method 0.3C5A constant current(CC)charge to 3.65V,then
constant voltage 3.65V(CV)charge till charge current
decline to≤0.02C5A
7 Charging time Standard charge:5.0h(reference)
Rapid charge:3.0h(reference)
8 Max. discharge current 1.0 C5A
9 Max instant discharge current 3.0 C5A
10 Discharge cut-off voltage 2.0 V
11 Operating temperature Charge:0°C ~ 45°C
Discharge:-20°C ~ 60°C
12 Storage temperature -10°C ~ 45°C
13 Storage humidity <85﹪
14 Cell Weight Approx:560 g
this claims to be a 20ah prismatic LiFePo4 cell.
first riddle:
20 Ah@ 0.3C5A(6000mA)
now what? 20Ah? only at 5A discharge? or 6A discharge? How much at:
Max. discharge current 1.0 C5A
1C = 20A or 0.25C = 5A ????
if so, what would that mean:
Max instant discharge current 3.0 C5A
so 3C is 5A as well? if that is the case then battery only has 1.700mah?
Charge current Standard charge:0.3C5A
but standard charging time is 5.0h? this should be 3 hours @0.3c or 4 hours @5a, but never ever 5 hours.
questions over questions. please someone enlight me ...
ps: this topic is a bit sarcastic. i don't really think that someone could make some real sense out of that data
