what fonction to use with this multimeter and what to avoid.

i did invest a little more than i initially wanted to get this clamp meter.
Im noob at multimeter.

i would like to know wich fonctions to use for what regarding ebike and battery building.

also since i dont know how the breacker fuse are set , maybe there is some precaution to take in order to burn the device por example testing too high current with a too small instrument .

can you help me with that ?

If you are a beginner at this I don't think you need a clamp DMM. Can you send it back? then you can reorder one for about $20. At this stage all you really need is a free one from Harbour Freight (if you have one in your country). A $10 one from aliexpress or Temu would be OK too.

All you will really need is Volts, Ohms and continuity.

Don't test current (Amps). Everything else, it doesn't matter what settings you use, it won't hurt it.

Clamp might be useful for house AC Amp draw testing
