What happens to different capacity packs in parallel??

Ya, I'm here doc. Man, I just reread the last few post and cracked up reading that again. Double entendre... POS, yes, absolutely the POS terminal pissed me off, but I conquered it.

Now have an electric trike getting me 588 mpg energy equivalent, 373 mpg cost equivalent. I took into account a 30% loss in the power supply, 20% loss in the charger, and I'm getting about 10% or less loss between charge cycles.

I'll post my excel sheets so you can check it out yourself. I've got the fourth sheet with the efficiency calculations all tracking the data entered into the other sheets. Take a look!

The interesting thing is that for my first discharge/charge cycle I got like 56% efficiency, the second one I got about 75%, and each of the following two has been up near 95% efficient. And to top it off, I'm actually balance charging each of my 8 good packs individually. I think the cells are getting conditioned with each cycle because I'm also getting more power out of them now too, look at the balance chart...

So far I've gone 37 miles with about 10-14 miles per charge (the first one sucked). It will be interesting to see if warmer weather will improve my range.
