I'm old enough to never have worn a helmet as a kid on a bike, nobody, I mean NOBODY, did. I still recently didn't wear one, when riding my Montague that I keep in the plane. But since I have converted that same Montague to a E bike, I have twice left skid marks about 6' long (my fault, showing off my new ride), and it got me thinking...... it's faster now, and going faster is really fun and hard to resist. I LIKE showing it off, and will no doubt continue to hot rod it a bit. It's also about 20 lbs. heavier, this thread pushed me over the edge, and I ordered a Fox Head Transition helmet yesterday. I also snowboard without a helmet, around here it's about 50/50 use for that activity. I wore a helmet hang gliding and on my bike road bike motorcycles, but this is my first bicycle helmet, I just hope I don't hot rod even more because of the added feeling of protection it will probably give
